My Review of ClickFunnels™ – it’s MORE than Sales Funnel Software

I won’t kid you, I’m kind of a geek when it comes to charts like this one above! But, in order to not overwhelm you, here’s a breakdown of what I think are some of the most important comparisons from the chart above:
- Monthly Cost: You can immediately appreciate that the cost of the service, for the amount of value and features/benefits they provide, is the best in the industry. You may see a couple that seem lower, but when you compare what you get included in that price, there’s no question that ClickFunnels™ beats the competition hands down!
- Overall Ease of Use: As a web designer and digital marketing strategist who works with small businesses, this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I continue to be amazed at how many software products neglect the end user when it comes to user experience. Do they ever ask people who don’t normally work with these types of products if they can figure it out on their own? I cannot believe how many of these products prove to be difficult to navigate, even for someone as seasoned as me. Imagine if I have to continually figure out a platform, how difficult it must be for a business owner who doesn’t have the time or patience to figure them out on their own.
- All-in-One Platform: I believe this is one of the most important features. Except for maybe one or two items, there’s no need to spend more money on integrating anything into the program. You can build entire funnels – I LOVE the way they have templates you can use and how they have the funnel steps built into the program – and integrate email directly from within the platform. It not only makes it easy for you to do this, it also sparks ideas on how you can sell your products or services.
- Includes Membership Site Capabilities: I am thrilled about this feature. Not only can you sell products and services through the platform, but you can also create membership sites that allow you to “drip” content over time. This allows you to entice your members to stay with your site month after month as well as not overwhelm them.
- Text Messaging: OK, this is just AWESOME! In this information age overload, if you feel as though your email campaigns may not be getting paid attention to, why not implement a texting campaign? I don’t see much of the competition getting on board with this! I think this is a HUGE integration. Just think, if you are a local bricks and mortar company (such as a restaurant), how powerful keeping in touch with your customers by providing daily discounts would be.
- eMail Limit/month: With their premium account, there is NO email limit per month. YES! You heard me! No email limit!
- Affiliate Account: You can create your own affiliate product with the full Etison Suite of products. Again, this is a HUGE benefit that most don’t provide. PLUS, the other affiliate account features far surpass those of the competition.
- So much more! Just take a look at the chart. You’ll be amazed at how much more this software platform provides their subscribers. (You can tell I get very excited about this company!)
You Might Wonder, “What’s the Downside to Buying ClickFunnels™?”
You can certainly feel the excitement I have for this product. But, I don’t want to seem completely biased! 😉
There are some drawbacks to it. Here’s a list of what I don’t love about ClickFunnels™:
- Their membership site leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not as disappointed as many reviewers since my own membership funnels/sites are basic and don’t need fancy features. I tend to be a minimalist, so this actually works just fine for me. However, there are better products available, such as WordPress and other teaching platforms. If ClickFunnels™ could add some sort of forum functionality, that would be enough for me to improve my thoughts about their membership capabilities.
- Their monthly cost may be too high for some. Depending on whichClickFunnels™ plan you opt into, the price tag may be a little steep for those that currently rely on their free WordPress website, low-cost hosting and email campaign manager, and perhaps a plugin that acts as their sales funnel. The monthly fee for something like that may be as low as $25 to $30/month.
- Automated Webinars/Webinar Integration. I’m really hoping they improve on this feature. Russell has done a great job showing online business owners/entrepreneurs how to produce and promote the perfect webinar, so why not have better integration and functionality?
- Ease of Use. For some, this software is going to be a no-brainer. It’s probably one of the easiest, DIY online platforms I have ever used. For others, it’s going to be a bit more challenging. This includes those who have no experience with drag and drop type of software and those who don’t understand sales funnels. Without having a fundamental knowledge of sales funnel structure, this will seem a bit overwhelming at first. Luckily, Russell includes an extensive marketing training program for all those that purchase the software and there are plenty of technical trainings within and without the ClickFunnels’™ support.
